                What is Community Emergency Response Teams really?

       Community Response Teams are the “ELITE”  of the Volunteer Organizations that support Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement in our community.

Cert Team Members are ordinary citizens that have taken extraordinary measures to back up their local Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical Services.

CERT Members are trained and Certified by Mayor’s Office of Emergency Management.

Areas of training are:

§        Fire Suppression

§        Medical Operations

§        Search and Rescue

§        Disaster Psychology

§        Handling untrained volunteers
