Working with our Mayor's Office of Emergency Management

Working with the Mayor's Office of Emergency Management on training for our team members has been very rewarding. I have gained a new respect for these people that sometimes work behind the scene. The people of Nashville and Davidson County are very lucky to have this caliber of men and women working in this field. I believe that OEM will train a record number of people in CERT this year. The range of the diversity of the classes are amazing. The one thing they all seem to have in common is that they all care about their communities. I look forward to continued partnership with our Office of Emergency Management in the future. Thank you for your service.
