Earthquake strikes Japan

In the south Pacific Japan is most likely called "earthquake central". They just experienced one of the strongest earthquakes in their history of recording earthquakes. Not just an earthquake but a tsunami also. There are even warnings for the US west coast for tsunami's. Seems like the earth is going to be very active for the next few years. If all the earthquakes we have experienced in the last two years has not opened peoples eyes to the potential danger then I just wonder what will.
